These are my 'wrong' photos
This task is far harder than you would have thought. The conventions of Photography are so ingrained into us by the media that we interact with that we find it very hard to break those rules.
WWW: The best images are the family on the road, the boy holding the bike tyre and the track. Each of them have some merits but are not quite right and feel slightly odd. I like the curves in the track in the one it pulls you towards the electricity poll.
The Strongest is th boy on the road. His sister is holding an ice cream out of the side of his head, this made me laugh and I like it that the ice cream is in focus. It has good leading lines from the lines at the side of the road and the fence but they are interrupted by the two figures. One of which is popping out of the boys head also.
EBI: Now I understand why some photos can break the rules and still be good I can start to expand my idea of what a good photo is. Next time I would try to stage some shots.
